Strength Begin With Awareness

The Way I Coach

My relationship with fitness began through movement, but over time, it became something much deeper. After more than a decade of working in fitness and coaching people with different bodies, goals and stages of life, I’ve come to see training as more than exercise. It is an opportunity to understand the body - how it moves, how it adapts and how our awareness and mindset influence the way we experience movement.

My background in psychology has shaped the way I coach just as much as my education in strength and movement. I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through training in prenatal and postpartum fitness, sport psychology, functional movement and other areas of human performance. I’m deeply curious about the connection between the body and mind, and that curiosity continues to shape the way I learn and coach. The more I study human movement, the more I understand how individual it is - and how much there is always left to discover.

That understanding is at the center of my approach. I don’t believe training should simply be a series of exercises to complete. I want clients to understand what they are doing, why they are doing it, and what they feel while they move. We work on strength, mobility, coordination and movement quality while developing greater awareness of the body and its patterns. Over time, that awareness can extend beyond a training session into the way you move and carry yourself in everyday life.

My role is to create thoughtful, individualized training that challenges you while respecting where your body is today. I want clients to become stronger, but also more confident and connected to their own movement - building skills and awareness they can carry with them long after the session ends.

To me, fitness is not about perfection or chasing quick results. It is an ongoing practice of learning, adapting and becoming more capable in your body. Strength matters, but understanding the body you’re building strength in matters too.
